Royal Priesthood.

1 Peter 2:9-10

[9]But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

[10]“Once you had no identity as a people; 

    now you are God’s people. 

Once you received no mercy; 

    now you have received God’s mercy.”

Question What is the difference between a Regular Christian and Gods Royal Priest.

A regular Carnal Christian doesn't Please God, But his Holy Priesthood are filled with his Spirit and offer Spiritual Sacrifices that pleases God. 

1 Peter 2:4-5

[4]You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God’s temple. He was rejected by people, but he was chosen by God for great honor.

[5]And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. What’s more, you are his holy priests. Through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God..

His Holy Priesthood Is set apart and Chosen by God to do Works for him in His Holy Temple which is Us.

In the Old Testament we can see the work priest in Gods Tabernacles or Temple. 

Read the Whole verse of Exodus 29

Here are some of verse how the priest works and consecrated and Anointed by God. 

Exodus 29:1-2,7,36-39,42-46

[1]“This is the ceremony you must follow when you consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests: Take a young bull and two rams with no defects.

[2]Then, using choice wheat flour and no yeast, make loaves of bread, thin cakes mixed with olive oil, and wafers spread with oil.

[7]Then anoint him by pouring the anointing oil over his head.

[36]Each day you must sacrifice a young bull as a sin offering to purify them, making them right with the lord. Afterward, cleanse the altar by purifying it; make it holy by anointing it with oil.

[37]Purify the altar, and consecrate it every day for seven days. After that, the altar will be absolutely holy, and whatever touches it will become holy.

[38]“These are the sacrifices you are to offer regularly on the altar. Each day, offer two lambs that are a year old,

[39]one in the morning and the other in the evening.

[42]“These burnt offerings are to be made each day from generation to generation. Offer them in the lord’s presence at the Tabernacle entrance; there I will meet with you and speak with you.

[43]I will meet the people of Israel there, in the place made holy by my glorious presence.

[44]Yes, I will consecrate the Tabernacle and the altar, and I will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests.

[45]Then I will live among the people of Israel and be their God,

[46]and they will know that I am the lord their God. I am the one who brought them out of the land of Egypt so that I could live among them. I am the lord their God.

Priest are Gods Holy People whom his Presence can be revealed to. Who ministers between God meaning they have relationship with the Lord.

But since we are born as a Gentiles (Not naturally born as Jews) Can we be part of God Holy Priesthood?

Galatians 3:26-29

[26]For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

[27]And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.

[28]There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

[29]And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.

So we now can be part of Gods Holy Priesthood since we are adopted into His Holy Kingdom when we Accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Hebrews 5:1-10

[1]Every high priest is a man chosen to represent other people in their dealings with God. He presents their gifts to God and offers sacrifices for their sins.

[2]And he is able to deal gently with ignorant and wayward people because he himself is subject to the same weaknesses.

[3]That is why he must offer sacrifices for his own sins as well as theirs.

[4]And no one can become a high priest simply because he wants such an honor. He must be called by God for this work, just as Aaron was.

[5]That is why Christ did not honor himself by assuming he could become High Priest. No, he was chosen by God, who said to him, 

“You are my Son. 

    Today I have become your Father.”

[6]And in another passage God said to him, 

“You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”

[7]While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God.

[8]Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.

[9]In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.

[10]And God designated him to be a High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Since Jesus becomes our High Priest God has Chosen his people To be his priest to the Kingdom of God. 

Revelation 1:5-6

[5]and from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the ruler of all the kings of the world.All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.

[6]He has made us a Kingdom of priests for God his Father. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.

If we Obey him this is His promise to The Children of Israel.

Exodus 19:5-6

[5]Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me.

[6]And you will be my kingdom of priests, my holy nation.’ This is the message you must give to the people of Israel.”

Are we Qualified as the Children of Israel or descendants of Abraham? 

Galatians 3:29

   Today I have learn that we are the priest of God so we should take responsibility for that  we should serve him through our spirit by giving him praise and worship this is the spiritual gifts that we must give him every day...God chosen us and qualified us to become his priest before we were born before we haven't done good and bad .... So we need to keep pure our hearts we need to filled with holy spirit everyday because we are his temple   not because of animals blood but the Jesus blood

This teaching has reminded me more about the duty of the High Priest and it's encourage me more to do my work to offer spiritual sacrifices that are pleasing to Abba Father .I am Grateful that the lord made a new covenant with us where he himself sacrifice his life so that we can now be  able to enter the Holy of holies especially for me that I am a woman because in the Old testament Woman cannot enter the Temple only men.

I been inspired to strive more to Serve the lord and live in Holiness so that I can be a Good Ambassador of the kingdom of God and can influence and teach other christian to also Obey and Give Glory to the Lord Jesus Christ .

 Today I have learn that we are the priest of God, God himself chosen  us before we  were born before we haven't do good and bad.. god himself qualified us to become his priest so we should take response to take care our hearts because our body is the temple of God we should serve him by our spirit through praise and worship , this is the spiritual sacrifice to god we need to filled with holy spirit every day we    are save by the blood of Jesus not by animal blood  he himself sacrifice for us to make us his holy priest Jesus is the highest priest we should connect with him always by being blameless before him.. we are the ambassador of God we need to show ourselves the light of Christ  in our lives..etc.. glory to God....

Thank you brother Mark for tonight's academy, God bless you. I was reminded how our hearts serve as God's temple, and it is our duty as His priests to keep it clean (holy). Unlike outsiders whose only concern is to come and offer sacrifices to purify themselves, the duty of a priest is not only for himself, but for the people outside the temple. His heart is for man to reach God, through our intercession and daily prayers that break down every demonic hindrances for people to see the light of Christ.
